    Great image quality ideal for low light photography

    The pros of this model over later versions is that it excels in low light with its F1.8 lens. It does not have a great zoom, but it is ideal for low light, landscape and architecture photos. The camera has many settings, but just leaving it on Auto provides exceptional photos. Another advantage is that there is an ability to shoot in RAW rather than JPG for professional photographers using Lightroom or Photoshop. If you want a greater Zoom, but don't mind a larger F stop later versions of the camera are for you. The Sony RX100 series is expensive, but it provides superior images is a small easy to carry travel camera.

    Small, but with a big punch!

    Awesome product w/ great features, esp its widest aperture of f1.8 producing excellent image quality. Body is solid and of good quality. Would have been nice if it had a mic input and a longer lasting battery.
