    Connector

    These work great. I have learned that a person could use smaller connectors (such as 10 gauge connector for 8 gauge wire) for a tighter fit. They are easy to crimp and they hold well.

    Soldered well

    I did not have a crimper so I soldered 8 gauge wire using a propane torch and electrical solder. This was quick work and functioned excellently. Using the connections in a solar power system. Has functioned well for months now.
