    Instant classic.

    The White Unibody MacBook was always a great design innovation. This is classic and timeless! This particular unit was an amazing value and the condition was way better than I expected for a computer just about 7 years old. It runs MacOS Sierra which is great so you can still stay up to day with the latest OS and security updates. Highly recommend for a budget friendly computer or especially if you have wanted to dive in to the Apple/Mac world for a while but thought they were too expensive. This is the fine wine taste on a beer budget Mac to get.

    My little ol poor laptop died!!

    Then I found out it was NOT the hard drive OR the video card...it was the whole screen!! It was a 10 min fix for my computer guy....and works fabulously!!! I have not used my MacBook in 3 years...and going back to it was like "christmas" finding things I had not seen in years!! Thank you!!

    Still the best laptop user experience

    Well, almost any Apple product is "the best user experience" but a "new to me" MacBook that is missing most signs of wear and has nothing technical wrong with it... "best user experience". I wanted to put Sierra on the MacBook and it was easy to do at the Apple store too. I made an appointment at the Genius bar and was sure to explain I did not have any data on the MacBook (yet). They loaded Sierra fresh from their servers at the Apple store. The whole event took about 45 minutes, including waiting time. Again, "best user experience".

    A1342: somewhat dated but very functional

    It is on the heavy side. With a good capacity HDD, one can have two OS running with no problem at all, provided it has at least 8GB RAM. For good measure, I have ordered a new battery and In my limited experience with this white MacBook, it is safe to say it has a good four years left before replacement.
