Product Information
This tank combat simulation game from Interactive Magic puts you in control of one of four state-of-the-art American tanks in "Operation Removal." The United States is engaged in battles across North Africa, against the Tunisian-banned underground Islamic fundamentalist party (the Al-Nahda [Rebirth] group) and the Libyans. You must command your tank through a wide variety of missions against these enemies.<br><br>As you race across the desert, you can communicate with the other tanks in your unit and get feedback from members of the crew over the intercom. With variable angles of view and thorough attention to detail in the ground vehicles, aircraft and hardware, the game is designed to make you feel like you're in the middle of the action. Although you have computer backup (such as the Inter Vehicular Information System) success depends on your strategy and tactics.<br><br>Spearhead features 20 single-player missions plus an extensive desert campaign. The tanks are patterned after real military vehicles and communication voiceovers are based on actual U. S. Army training simulations. Multiplayer games are supported for up to twelve players over a LAN or the Internet and head-to-head modem play available as well.
