Hailing from Orlando, Florida, Matchbox 20 play heartfelt, melodic rock distinguished by emotive vocals and unforgettable hooks. Driven by the singing and songwriting of Ron Thomas, the group played the local club scene, opening for Hootie & the Blowfish, Letters to Cleo and others before coming to Lava's attention. The band's debut album, produced by Matt Serletic (Collective Soul), features the first single/video "Real World." Other emphasis tracks include "Long Day" and "Push."
