    Trail Tech Tac

    I used the Trail Tech TTO on my motorhome to monitor my Onan Genset rpm. It was easy to install and I lengthen the feed wire about three feet and it worked fine. The unit allows me to monitor the genset to insure it stay in the recommend rpm range and I can insure that the units is running as I drive down the road. I looked a other options but there size may it hard to find a good mounting spot, as small as this one is I was able to mount on my switch panel above the start button for the generator. I'm thinking if getting another one from my Honda Express scooter I use at the campgrounds.

    Trail tech tachometer

    Seems to give inaccurate RPM readings that fluctuate wildly. Installation instructions are OK but no technical specifications on how it operates. Is it calibrated for 4 strokes? Is there a battery inside that might need replacement? No info about these details at all. Very disappointed.
