I love this thing, I have no idea why it's discontinued, The mail got marked with a date since there is no longer post mark dates on them. The trick is to not get in the replace the ink roller mode, If you get the right ink (x-stamper), the wheel will last forever. When my local source of ink dried up because the store closed I got the suppliers name, You need a purple ink that was used for cash registers. This will be my third. It's not out of the box yet. They were like $80.00 USD new with $20.00 for the ink rollers if I remember. Nothing comes close to it. You have a coin cell for the clock and AA batteries for the mechanism.
