this product is made to help in the kitchen our product of can openers are bad
I had one before and it got worn out, I couldn't find any one who could put in a new (blade) whatever it is called, so I had to get one that was used. I had one years ago when they first showed up in the states. I like better than any we have here, but we don't make this type, not the junk can openers we have in the states. WASTE OF MONEY
This was a very old version of the can opener. The plug did not even have that larger prong. The can opener opened the lid only slightly, and the lid had to be pried off with a knife. Smooth Edge inside the can
It's the only can opener I know of that leaves a clean edge inside the can. Thus, the dog can aid in cleaning the cans before they hit the recycle bin. It is "easy on the elderly", in that only a portion of the brain is required to use it, and no physical strength is required. It has proven itself reliable in this household, in that my first one worked for over a decade, and has now goone to the "parts pile" in case of future need. Love the discontinued but excellent model
The Krups can opener is a discontinued appliance that lasted me well over 15 years. It was extremely well made but not made in a way to repair it. The motor was great but it wouldn’t cut the can seal. Small compact but sturdy as a stand alone can opener. No handheld openers seemed to be what I wanted and no room for a countertop.
