    for a friend

    These tires were bought for an elderly friend who recently lost her husband, and is recovering from surgery herself. Her suv had run flat oe tires that cost over $1000. Since i retired from a tire and auto service store, the family asked for my opinion. I picked out the goodyear assurance as the best for the price, with her limited driving needs. Her daughter also reimbursed my cost. Glad to help out.

    If you want more than 20,00 miles of life, look elsewhere.

    I purchased these tires to replace the original tires on my wife's 2017 Explorer, the original tires lasted 49,000 miles and probably could have gone longer, but wanted them changed for winter in Michigan. These tires are great for ride, and in wet and snow, but only last 18,000 miles. The front tires were ALL to the wear bars at the second rotation (done with oil changes). I had to purchase 2 more just for the front since I didn't want mis-matched tires on the vehicle. If you plan on keeping a vehicle for more than 20k miles, look elsewhere. Extremely disappointed that Goodyear would even offer such a poor mileage tire.

    Tires came in fast they look brand new almost like new. What I paid for all 4 is what one new goes for so I was super happy to see the savings. However 2 of the 4 was patched not in the side wall but tread and it was done with quality in mind. The patch doesn’t hurt the tire and I’m not worried about it just thought I’d mention it as this is the facts. Now if you can find someone to mount and balance them for less than $20 each you will be saving several $100 on theses tires. I will be using united tires in the future for all of my cars….

    Great item - have used these in the past. Great all season tire. Very low noise, good road handling, wet performance is definitely higher than others I've tried. I have not ever used in the snow so I cannot comment on that.
