This speaker system features a six-inch, 20-watt, downward-firing-powered subwoofer that produces seamless quality bass. This subwoofer gives you the experience of a new level of excitement when listening to music, playing games, or watching movies. The SoundSticks III utilizes a clear plastic transparency for the subwoofer-satellite combination with a pale light glowing inside, giving this device an exquisite look. The internal blue lights provide an extra visual surprise and will help light up a room.Even with the charming look, this Harman Kardon unit does not sacrifice in the arena of sound quality. The speaker and sub combination features four one-inch drivers in the 10-watt speakers that are mounted vertically. The 20-watt sub will sit on the floor and provide them with power. This makes turning the entire unit off and on simple as the buttons are at a level that is easy to reach. The base rings feature a black color and allow you to adjust the satellite's angle. Linked together with transparent cable, the wires will be protected from dust and rodents. Enjoy a plug-and-play capability with this sound system as it allows you to connect to any multimedia device that has a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack output. Anyone can use the SoundSticks since setup is extremely simple and can be done quickly. The quick setup will allow you to play your favorite songs or other audio from any storage unit with very little wiring. The unit is also compatible with an optional dual-sided cable, which allows you to plug in a headphone set.The volume buttons are controlled by capacitive touch, making it easy to turn the unit up. There is also a mute button for when you need to quickly turn the sound off. The buttons are ultra sensitive, so you won't have to press hard on them in order to activate them. Even at high volumes, the clarity will be consistent. From the rumble of the bass to the precision of the highs, you won't hear any degradation or artifacts. You also won't hear any hissing or static while switching between tracks. The consistency of the unit allows for the sound to be consistent, whether playing a video game or using accessories such as an mp3 player. The frequency response ranges from 35Hz to 20kHz, allowing for crisp and balanced performance. With 55 watts of power per channel, the full-range audio levels are loud enough that music will be heard throughout the room. All of this is wrapped up in dimensions of 11 by 11.3 by 15.5 inches that won't take up much space. The weight of 6.4 pounds makes the entire system portable enough to transport from one room to another.

    Great features and stereo sound.

    The soundsticks III Wireless by Harman Kardon are a beautiful piece of technology to have on display on my room. I love its looks and the clear crisp sound. Of course there are much smaller speakers that could fill the room with the same volume of sound, but I haven't found one that has such clear audio from Bluetooth. I also appreciate that these speakers have the capability of working with a 3.5mm jack. I believe it is a great investment and I am seriously considering getting another pair. I hate that these days manufacturers either don't care at all for stereo separation or try to do something like using Dolby Atmos which is great but to expensive to be a reasonable expense for just listening to music on my computer.

    This is a good speaker system but not the best. I do not get the clear high in the treble as I was led to believe in the other reviews. It is good but not above that. The subwoofer is very nice and I do get good mid range to low bass. The design is well above average. I think I could have done better for the price.

    Harman International You Did It Again!

    I have the HK Soundsticks III that I was going to hook up to my computer but, I ended up not. I put it in my bedroom hooked up to my Samsung. It was a nice little 2.1 system but, I expanded it. I purchased a 3.5mm male to two 3.5mm female adapter. I plugged the adapter in, plugged the Soundsticks in, plugged in my JBL Charge 3 speaker to use as my center channel and hooked up my two JBL Flip 4’s for rear surrounds using the JBL Connect + to run everything. It sounds like a small but powerful little 5.1 system and it gets pretty loud with very little distortion if any. It actually gives a theater sound to it. I am very impressed. If I wasn’t going to get it for my computer I would’ve got the Soundsticks II because they are wireless and Bluetooth so I could run them all together. I still am ...

    History in the Making

    Always wanted a set, took many years to finally get one. Only bad thing, was a piece was bent out of box, therefore causing issues connecting and making sound. I doubled looked over every piece and tech support ready, before noticing the bent piece. I managed to unbend it, and EVERYTHING works GREAT NOW!!! Love the slight slow when it is powered on; Sounds GREAT!!

    Why Did I Just Now Buy A Set?

    Fantastic sound from a very nice set of Harmon Kardon speakers. CDs sound better than I have ever heard them. Killer bass and 2 great satellite speakers to handle mid range and highs. Volume control is a bit sensitive but you get used to it. Very happy with my purchase! Great price and shipped free! Very modern and cool design!
