    New Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 Purchase - Hard to Find One

    I ordered the Phantom4 Pro V2.0 3 days ago. I was a little nervous as it was advertised as "Brand New" and the P4PV2 is hard to find new as DJI discontinued manufacturing them last fall. When it arrived I opened the box, and behold I was relieved; brand new! I charged and connected it to my iPad Pro, updated the firmware and flew three flights for a total of 18 minutes using most of the different modes. Flawless!! It was as advertised!

    Yaw drift issues

    The Phantom series has been plagued with drifting issues, and I suspect that's why the P4P v2 has been discontinued. From a spec standpoint the drone is the best on the market, but the one I received was nearly impossible to fly straight despite repeating all calibrations multiple times. A Google search lead me to many forums of Phantom owners with the same issue, and no way to fix it except but getting the drone replaced by DJI.

    Great quadcopter for recreation or commercial use

    Got this quadcopter for inspecting roofs and tower inspections. Very easy to fly, camera is great, and the obstacle avoidance works well and keeps the drone safe around towers, chimneys, etc.. As I start to geek out, I'm sure I'll find shortfalls, but it is clearly more than what I need, and with remote ID already built in, will last me a long time.

    P4 pro v2

    The drone itself is excellent but the bundle isn’t the greatest. The lenses don’t fit for some reason. The carrying backpack is of. Scratches super easy so I put some foam bumpers on the ground side

    Upgraded to the Phantom 4 pro for the camera and WOW. Big difference from the previous drone I have. love the phantom series of drones -very reliable, ease of operation, and now an upgraded camera.
