Synopsis
The Non-Orthodox Jews Guide to Orthodox Jews offers an all-encompassing view of Orthodox Jews beliefs and actions and explains the issues that non-Orthodox Jews often find puzzling or exasperating. Readers will encounter surprisingly refreshing discussions of topics such as happiness, good and evil, personal integrity, suffering, heaven and hell, prophecy, prayer, charity, economics, feminism, love and sexuality, marriage, evolution, morality, political correctness, assimilation, intermarriage and Zionism. They will also discover that Orthodox Jews are modern, twenty-first-century men and women who embrace the benefits of modern society while affirming and perpetuating an all-important chain that stretches back more than three millennia.

Excellent transaction. The book was even nicer than shown, good packing, and quick shipping. Shipping charge was LESS than actual cost, which combined with the low cost of such an excellent book, made the purchase a great value. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from this seller again.

Good experience with this seller. The book pictured did not match the description, so I contacted seller for clarification. They responded promptly to confirm the book was as pictured (Religion of Reason our of the Sources of Judaism by Hermann Cohen). One of the greatest philosophical books on monotheistic religion to come out of the 19th or 20th centuries, a gift to Jews and Christians alike. Price was the best on the internet and it arrived promptly, in fine condition for its age.
