    fired up quick right out of the box, ran good, broke - in good, and still starts like immediately, every time I throw it on the box. not the most powerful engine I've ever had however it's quite Snappy great for its price.

    Once this little engine is Properly broken in and tuned it is a ton of fun!

    Once this little engine is Properly broken in and tuned it is a ton of fun! Installed in my Traxxas Nitro Rustler It does not have the kind of back flipping Torque of larger or more exotic engines but its top end absolutely screams. It is capable of 60+ mph in a rustler with 22/72 gearing. In my opinion It would be ideally installed in a lighter weight model no heaver than a bling'ed out nitro rustler, The Traxxas 3.3 would be a better choice for something heavy like a monster truck. I think the Traxxas 2.5R engine has Very good performance for the price.
