    Great value w/ great image quality compared to buying a longer lens

    Performs very well on lenses that it was designed for with a very slight reduction in image quality and focus speed. The sharper the original (bare without the teleconverter) lens is the better off you are. Don't put this on a crappy plastic 70-300 something zoom and expect great results it won't focus and the image will be probably be poor. But on a sharp 2.8 zoom or prime lens it is very good. I'm able to track fast moving birds and vehicles or motorcycles on a race track at speed with the converter attached to a sigma 120-300 F2.8. This gives me a 168-420 F4 lens that works very well and is still very sharp. I'm looking forward to trying a 2X during Bald eagle season next year.

    Great match for the Sigma 300mm prime lens

    It effectively turns my Sigma 300mm f/2.8 into a 420mm f/4 lens without sacrificing too much in the way of image quality. My images are still sharp, and the autofocus still works.

    If you have a Sigma lens, buy this extender. It is the best.

    This is the only TC I use on my Sigma lenses. Only 40% over the focal length, it does not affect the image quality of the Sigma lenses. For Canon lenses, I use Canon 1.4 converters. I recommend this tc.

    Good option for more reach.

    It will make the image slightly less Sharp, but not by much. Great for those on a budget to apply to their 70-200mm 2.8 for more reach.

    Squeeze distance with this amdapter

    I like to shoot wildlife in Algonquin Park, Ontario, Canada. There are opportunities to photograph moose, bears, deer, and wolves. Birds like woodpeckers, loon, ducks, etc., fish, and tons of small animals like porcupine, skunk, fox, and raccoon abound. Using this adapter with my Sigma 150-500 lens, gets me that much loser to my subject unnoticed.
