This is an amazing sounding head unit that looks beautiful in detail. Quality is obvious, even out of the box. Installation is easy and standard. My only complaint is that the "Forward" and "Back" buttons (to find songs, etc.) are both all the way on the right side of the unit. This is more awkward than it may seem, as you will have to extend past the other knobs and use your eyes to find the knob. Im accustomed to the LEFT button being on the left, not having them put together. On the good side, I use the wireless remote now, where I've never used them before. Perhaps they are trying to encourage the use of the connected devices' controls, and not the head unit. Although I can always pick up my Bluetooth device and find a track, i like the option of skipping forward or back with a ... This is an amazing sounding head unit that looks beautiful in detail. Replaced older Sony which was difficult to operate in my opinion and added CD and BT capability. The BT provided Hands Free cell phone operation with the iPhone. Was a wire for wire changeout, as Sony seems to have standardized on wire colors. I felt it had some nice improved features for the value paid and easy to operate.

They should have a warning on this,,, stating, "If want to get in an accident or run off the road, we guarantee this radio will help" Example,,, want to shut it off. Just try putting you finger on the smallest button you can find,,,, while getting bumped around, we designed it like this, If you have a difficult time finding it, just take your eyes off the road, don't worry if you hit something, at least you've stopped and now can easily press that off button". But don't just press it, it's not designed to be simple, you need to hold it a second or so to ensure you drive yourself off the road. This is a great bluetooth deck, especially for the low price. My 1999 civic had a stock cd player with really quiet, dull sounding speakers.. I installed this deck and they came to life! My system is louder, sounds better, and is more bassy. I agree with another reviewer about the search buttons being awkwardly placed, but it doesn't take from the value of this deck. The microphone is a nice addition too, apparently I come through loud and clear when I'm making calls, so.
