    Dr. Suess always wrote with adults in mind.

    Dr. Suess always wrote and drew with adults in mind, and frequently as a sharp social critic. Although his whimsical humor shines through in all of his work, sometimes a darker vision of our world frames his art. He was always consistent both in his published, mostly children's books, and also in this private collection published by his widow.

    The Secret Art of Dr. Seuss by Dr. Seuss (1995)

    This book has terrific pictures of art by Dr. Seuss. Also, there are stories about his life written by his wife and close friend. My whole family enjoys reading and looking at this wonderful book over and over again. We keep it on our coffee table where it is easy to find. We would recommend The Secret Art of Dr. Seuss to anyone interested in his books and/or artwork.
