    The definitive Wireless Controller

    The Nintendo wavebird is unique, effective, and ahead of its time. Indeed it's Nintendo's first radio controller and one that works with 3 generations of its consoles. Lightweight, sturdy, and provides a great degree of control. It's a controller that is both ahead of its time and retro. Timeless yet nostalgic.

    Good product

    Wavebirds is the original Nintendo branded wireless GameCube controller. As far as I know, its got the best quality. They can be expensive but it worth it to get something that will last over time. There are many cheaper unbranded ones that could be as good. But I personally didn't want to risk my money and back and forth returns just to find out which ones. Always pay attention and look at all the listing photos and the description, not just the title. There are some tricksters out there.

    Older controllers for a newer system

    I bought a set of 4 of these controllers to use when playing GameCube games on my Wii, because I wanted to avoid having dangling cords everywhere. So far I've used them for Mario Kart Double Dash and Prince of Persia Sands of Time with terrific success. I am most impressed with the fact that when using them you don't have to point the receiver in the direction of the controller--what I mean is that the little receiver boxes plug in to the top of the Wii but they are able to read the controllers wherever in the room people are using them. I thought I would have to move around my Wii setup and flip it on it's side to point out into the room to maintain line of sight but it's not even an issue. I was a little bit worried that the thumb sticks would be worn out (loose) like they became for ...

    Excellent control

    I did a lot of research before I made this purchase. I have purchased several off brand controllers and had mixed results every time. These are official Nintendo wireless controllers, and I feel that they're worth the extra effort to get. They perform fantastic and are able to connect and control well even over the 20-foot maximum distance that was advertised (IGN reported over 60 feet). The controller feels and functions identically to the standard GameCube controller except for the absence of the rumble pack, which I can do without. It has a nice feature that you can select the frequency that is being broadcast when multiple controllers are within range of each other, so the signals don't cross.     Thank you

    I bought a controller, receiver bundle about a week ago, and the X and Y buttons were stuck. Couldn’t return it, so I thought “heck.” Looked here for a replacement, and I lucked out. The controller was pretty much brand new. Well takin care of. Plus I got a bonus game and charger that I could try on my GBA. All for like 13 dollars! Im extremely satisfied. Thanks again!
