At the refurbished price of I got these for at $59.99 these are a absolute must. Super easy to get on my ear. The Linkbuds sit solidly and only fall out or come loose about as much as any other earbud with regular in ear tips. I found wearing these for many hours to be far more comfortable than traditional in ear buds. Sound quality is respectable. They open back design is exactly that, letting sound in, if you're in a noisy environment like the back of a bus or walking on a busy street the environmental noise is going to override the volume level these can produce. If you need to hear those sounds for your safety in those environments then these are a good choice. I wear the Linkbuds while cycling due to the environmental awareness they give me without the need for ambient sound microphones or other tech that is uncomfortable for me. Phone calls are crisp and the mics on the buds seem to work well enough for my conversation partners. The touch controls are unreliable, but as the owner of no fewer than five different pairs of wireless buds, literally nothing beats actual physical buttons and I have yet to encounter any buds that have reliable touch controls. The "expanded" touch areas that allow you to tap your head around your upper jaw to control playback is a gimmick. The touch area of your face is... hard to pin down and I found it to be totally unreliable. I also found that leaving the buds in while I was chewing food would trigger the expanded touch areas, constantly pausing or playing my audio and triggering the assistant features. Battery life of the buds themselves are respectable at more than 5 hours though the battery life of the case is pretty low compared to other buds I have used. The case is very small, so that's understandable. I typically have to charge the case up every 2-3 days. I would not recommend these at the full price of $170, but the refurbished ones I got here were like new and come with a warranty for less than half the price of new ones. Read full review

I have had the Linkbuds for about 6 months. Like other users, I found them difficult to fit comfortably inside my ears, but I eventually got comfortable wearing them. I primarily used them to listen to podcasts or music at low volumes, and they were great since you can hear your surroundings clearly due to their "donut" shape. Recently I started to notice the left earbud driver started to rattle and distort sound like voices and music to the point where it was so bothersome I had to listen exclusively though my right earbud. This issue never resolved itself after following all troubleshooting steps and restarting my buds several times. I reached out to the seller Secondipity, and they were not willing to provide any support since I had owned the device for more than 30 days already. I also reached out to Sony (a difficult process on its own) and they were also unable to provide any support since the unit had been marked as "scrapped" on their end. My only option at this point is to buy a new replacement left bud, but that would be more than the cost of an entirely new unit. After my poor support experience, I would rather buy a different brand. I think anyone would think that after 6 months, a product should still be functioning in almost like new condition. First this is a unique product. Probably the only open back earbuds on the market. If you are the hoodie head down type person you probably won't like these. If loudness and sound quality are your priority you will not like these, they are designed to let sound in. If like me you dislike the shut out feeling that in ear earbuds have you should give these a try. The app works really well and has a bunch of features including an equalizer. The earbuds connect fast and don't drop connection.

This is really good if you want earbuds that have natural noise transparency and want to hear the outside world. They're really comfortable and weightless compared to in-ear earbuds. The battery life is sufficient for me. The case is small. These sound great too. Overall, paid around $65 after tax for these. These are perfect for my use-case. I can finally listen to music again comfortably. Weightless, good sound, extremely comfortable.
