It really works better for different fretboard radius sizes. Also works well with fretboards/necks with different radii / radiuses. Basically, you might have to clamp less to fret the notes a cross the fretboard because it adapts to the radius. With other capos, the capos have to match the radius of a guitar's fretboard, or else the center or outer strings will go out of tune at a different rate when clamping. Also, the more you clamp, the more a capo will change other things like intonation and string tension etc. This works beeter at solving those problems. I have has this and the previous 2 generations of the same, and this one is the most flexible and works the best.

For a performance capo, you have to fiddle with it way too much to avoid any string buzz. There's no easy way to move the damn thing up and down the neck or clip it on the headstock. I always try to wrangle it one-handed and just give up an have to adjust with the other hand.

It’s got a little bit more heft that the G7th 2nd gen, but still lighter than 1st gen. So far no buzzing issues even on the first fret which is always the toughest one to capo if the nut is a little high. Been using G7th capos for years. I really like them. Only made sense to try the newest model. Since I have plenty of guitars, not getting rid of my 2nd gen ones, just adding to the collection. Would recommend this capo.

What can I say? It fits in one hand, has some decent weight to it. Has a nice aesthetic. I'm rather impressed with how easily it releases when you press the button. I can't imagine that I will regret this purchase even if I don't achieve my guitar playing dreams. The New Gear Day pamphlet included is informative and I got a good chuckle out of the "Sweet Thank You" that my sweet tooth appreciated it. When I head out for more gear I'll definitely look here first.

Very nice product. I like the size and weight. But I really like how it works. It doesn't seem to throw my guitar out of tune.

The G7th Performance 3 ART capo for steel string guitar is excellent in every way except for its price. The company need to lower the price a bit since it is more expensive comparable to other companies. I just hope that the company also create the ART version for nylon string soon.
