This is a rather no brainer decision. I do a fair amount of road travelling so every few years I replace my atlas with one with the latest info updates. Have always used Rand McNally and they have always been very helpful. Packed with loads of information. Spiral bound is great - pages hold up better. Happy with it. If it's not broken - Don't change it!
These maps are 30% larger than those found in the regular Road Atlas, making it easier to see detail. The spiral binding allows the "book" to be folded in half, which is a great help in handling while on the road. One disadvantage is that a state which is covered on two facing pages has a three-quarter inch break in the middle due to the binding. There is no overlap, so a road crossing the page at an angle looks disjointed. On the other hand, there are a large number of detail maps for cities and other areas such as national parks. Overall, I was pleased with the approach taken by this atlas and anticipate using this atlas a lot in the near future.
I love this Atlas ! its well put together and large enough for us to read without squinting ! aand the price was right !
My husband just used the book to guide him from Maryland to Tais, New Mexico where we will retire. He loves it and finds it accurate and easy to follow.
My wife loves to look at maps while we travel and the large scale shows more than just the roads. We stop at places on our travels that we find on the map, also. Besides the price was right since most stores charge much more than I payed.
I never did receive it.
