Not for Euro glass Slides
I think it would work great for paper slides ( USA) but most of my slides that I wanted to convert were glass slides which were too thick for the slide holder provided. i constructed a cardboard slide holder that works just fine and will be able to use the Converter this way for my European glass slides

The slides I have all need different exposure compensation. To find the right setting I have to save the scan, change to USB mode so I can export to PC, review, change back to scan mode, go into the menu, change the setting, back to scan and save another. Or I can save scans with bracketed compensation - that involves going into the menu, selecting the exposure setting, adjusting it, leaving the menu, saving a scan, back to menu . . . so to bracket -2, -1, 0 +1, +2 takes nearly 5 minutes.The slides I have all need different exposure compensation. Good but not great
The convenience is great but color are not as good as my Ion pc2sd. Had to anchor with Velcro to keep from moving when putting the slides in because of small size. Still would recommend because of the slide loading. Have done about a hundred an hour.

Before I discovered Wolverine, I bought a different product because it was "cheaper". I have hundreds of slides from my Navy days in the 1960's, and wanted to install them on my computer. The other unit required the slides to be placed in difficult to open, multi-frame plastic containers, and a computer software that would not work. Wolverine simplified the process with the speed and with such ease, that allowed me to accomplish my task in short order. Why waste money on "cheaper" products that don't work? Saves Memories
Works great after a little learning. No need to use photo adjustments when you have Picasa to edit photos after you have transfered photos to your computer. A after market slide adapter will hold around 20 slides and make it a lot faster to transfer your 35mm slides. Also tranfers positive or negitive slide or film. It does come with all the adapters you need.
