Notes
IF ONLY YOU WERE LONELY is a tour de force, showing remarkable achievement from a band that has scarcely left the road since their debut album was released. Written partially on their bus during last summer's Warped Tour, the disc is produced by veteran David Bendeth, known for his work with bands like Breaking Benjamin and Towers of London. Musically, it tests the limitations of the emo and screamo music genres, adding deeper and darker subtle guitars and a more diverse selection of material. From the emo tracks they are known for to more metallic offerings and even a piano ballad reminiscent of the Beach Boys, Hawthorne Heights sought to built on the foundation laid on their debut album and expand from there.

Fantastic communication & answered my questions directly! The shipping was nice & tight, (I literally had to destroy the envelope in order to get to the box, then another packaging!) My tiny advice is please put the audio information if there's a different language option (i.e "Audio: Japanese & English" "Subtitles: English" inside the description. Other than that, secure & fast shipping, along with fantastic communication! Would do business with again! A+++

  • Back With Another Amazing CD

Hawthorne Heights has taken some criticism about their music. Despite the stabs at their obvious talents, the members have produced another amazing CD. This CD follows in the footsteps of their first CD (Silence in Black and White- buy that one too). They utilize the dual vocals again, as well as a triple guitar attack. The singer's voice is better, almost as if their first CD and all the touring was merely practice for this CD. There are the radio cuts, such as "Saying Sorry." If you liked "Niki FM" or "Ohio is for Lovers," then this CD is for you.

  • Awesome CD!

WOW is the only word to describe this album. I own both editions of the old album "The Silence in black and white" and that's a pretty good cd, a little generic, yes, a little overdone, yes but still nice to listen to. This cd blows their old music out of the water! I was so stunned by the awesomeness of this album that i cant even find words to describe it. This is one of my only cd's that i can listen to straight through with no skipping.

  • If Only you were Lonely

A+++ LOVE this cd. I bought Silence in Black and White then 3 days later I bought this one because I loved the other one so much. This cd is just as good, all the songs are great, i don't skip over any of them when i listen to it. I highly recommend Hawthorne Heights, and all their music!

  • Didn't know what to expect

After an album like Silence, which I loved, I wasn't sure what to expect. In the past I've been disappointed by bands that follow up an album I love with a sub-par CD. That didn't happen here. The sound hasn't changed much here but you can tell they have grown. Great buy if you liked Silence.

  • Rock ON

Call it emo, call it hardcore, whatever it is it rocks. Hawthorne Heights have done it again, a musical match to their first cd. They are amazing at what they do, and if you like them or dont, you have got to love this cd.
