I’ve been meaning to treat myself to this classic comedy for years, and it doesn’t disappoint. Unlike many other comedies, this is exactly as funny as I remember it.

This is one of the funniest series I ever saw on TV, and I was always amazed that it just died. I've only seen it repeated once, on Paramount comedy late night, and then I missed it! It's about an underground hippie magazine in the late sixties and the pretentious characters who run it, and it really takes the mick out of the whole hippie scene (and I WAS there. It captures perfectly the feeling of the time whilst managing to send it up totally at the same time. I was so pleased to find it, and to find that it was still just as funny as when I first saw it. I watched the whole lot straight through, on my own late at night, and laughed out loud. Highly recommended to everyone who enjoys rather surreal comedy in the Father Ted and Simon Pegg style. Great British Comedy!
This is one of my favourite comedy series! It is totally understated and received a large amount of negative reviews from critics. It not only stars some of the best comedy stars (Simon Pegg/ Sally Phillips)but is excellently written and a fantastic series! Just wish there had been more than 6 episodes!
