Used Hard Drives Western Digital From 20MB's To 1TB

Western Digital hard drives are my favorite.
the 250gb se model of wd drives, falls into the category they made called Blue, with a cache that's ok/ i think it's 16mb. I got some 4 in one order of these 250gb se wd drives, and they were a bomb. I have gotten, also at ebay, 250gb sd model, a little older, and they have all been performing great. So, hopefully you get a good 250gb se model, but it's likely that an sd, or re also they seem to be called, the sd models work good, just about evry time.the 250gb se model of wd drives, falls into the category they made called Blue, with a cache that's ok/ i think it's 16mb. I really like these hard drives
I did a lot of research on hard drives before I decided to buy a couple of these. the reviews have these very highly rated. In a number of catagories they are even faster than Velociraptors and these cost but a spec compared to Velociraptors. I connect four of the 250's (I have also used 3 320's)in a RAID 0 array and then I use one 1T hard drive to back them up. My boot times, read times and write times are much better than a single SSD and cost less. It really flies. I have nhad absolutely no reliability problems and if I believe what is written about them it is hard to find a more reliable disk.I did a lot of research on hard drives before I decided to buy a couple of these. the reviews have these very highly rated. Western Digital Caviar® SE16 WD2500KS 250 GB SATA II HD
I purchased a Western Digital hard drive to replace an aging and error prone Seagate. The drive was relatively inexpensive and I was able to plug it in and it worked right out of the box. The drive is quiet and my system performance was noticably improved especially when doing disk intensive operations. I wish I had had bought it sooner.

Great Drive
I have 3 drives of this series (320g,500g,and 250g) and they all work and perform great. The 320 and 500 have performed flawlessly for a year and a half now. The only better drives you can get would be the Raptor drives for faster access speed but these drives get the job done at a great price.
