A fantastic camera for a reasonable price
The reason I bought this camera is that I have already got a few 4/3-lenses that I can use with it, I already own an Olympus E 510, and this is an upgrade with more features. I belive Olympus is a great cameramaker and a great innovator, always first with innovations like live-view and working ccd-cleaning-system etc. I could have wished for a little better noisebehavior at higher ISO-settings but unfortunarily this is something one have to live with in the 4/3-system, on the other hand none of the other cameramanufactors supply sutch fantastic lensquality for a low price, and of course the Olympus colours. Unbeatable.The reason I bought this camera is that I have already got a few 4/3-lenses that I can use with it, I already own an Olympus E 510, and this is an upgrade with more features. The best SLR for its price and application. full stop!
I love about it: - Very fast and accurate operation thanks to cross type AF points - Good handeling and controls layout - 2x multiplier for the crop factor. Excellent for sports, birdies, safari, photo journalists, studio etc. - Clean images upto ISO 800 - Excellent lenses (Many best of its class) from Olympus camp and some from Sigma. I like about it: - Best JPEG Engine, as I personlay shoot more on RAW, am just hitting it in like category. - The ability to share its 4/3 lenses on my micro 4/3 cameras with adapter and shoot videos using them. Though I recommend getting micro 4/3 lenses for faster AF. I don't like: - Smaller viewfinder but similar in other in the same category. - The fact that it doesn't carry a top status lcd, but can't complain for its price, none of the competitor ... Excellent second hand purchase
Very good so far. Own a 410 model and will retain it. The 620 is an upgrade to allow image stabilisation and flip screen both of which work well.Ideal as current 4/3 lenses are transferrable. Perhaps down side is the image sensor(physical size not megapixel) is not larger as the images are alittle blocky on medium magnificayion when viewed. However i paid £225 to include extra memory cards and extra battery I am well pleased.Very good so far. Own a 410 model and will retain it. The Olympus E-620 in my opinion is Fantastic
I bought the Olympus E-620 because i already owned the E-520 And five Olympus lenses.I noticed that someone was selling the E-620 Body at a greatly reduced price on e-bay so i snapped it up so i had two bodies and wouldn't need to change the lenses so often.I loved the E-52O,all i can say about the E-620 Fabulous!
