All I wanted was something to play my music while I work out and this little gem is the ticket. It is easy to operate (except for the on/off switch design flaw) good sound quality and was priced right. I also like the size as it is easy to carry on a run. On this particular one the battery life is exceptional.

Takes a while to learn how device works as instructions not included. Low volume, little hard for 70 year old to hear but that is probably for safety reasons. My screen and backplate were replaced and looked good. Obviously pictures were not high resolution and device is small so wouldn’t recommend reading a book on it. That said, it fits my needs of playing music on antique radio (wired appropriately) and being small is an advantage. Think it meets its limited market use.

I wasn't looking to get a self-personal traveling music player, but when the new car radio had an I-pod plug and I-pods hold 1000s of songs all controled from the car deck radio, I had to get one. I found the touch screen cursor dosen't work then dose work but dosent stop were I want it to. lick my fingers and try again, 3 times later I have got my selection, a pain in the ass to use. Not precise enough for my likeing. Apple I-Tones same thing, a pain in the ass to use to get your media loaded on your I-Pod in the order you want it. With to many restriction if you haven't bought it from them. Some things positive is the video playing capability(but with small screen)the ear buds are dynamic with built in sub woofers. set it on the table and watch the bass move it off the table. It holds 1000's of songs and my car Alpine controls it easier than it controls its self. I work in/with all types of digital media and found this consumer product to be a challenge for the average family person. Give up a lot of time to take your music with and it works fine. and moneyRead full review
I decided to treat myself to an iPod after my oldest daughter had borrowed my old mp3 player AGAIN and misplaced it. I love all the features the nano has. The sound is great and the video is superb. Shortly after my purchase I noticed some sound issues that I quickly contacted Apple about. They were quick to address the issue & promptly replaced my iPod...no questions asked. The phone service was excellent and I was impressed with the company's willingness to make me a satisfied customer. I am again a happy iPod owner and look forward to maxing out the memory on the 4 gig nano with movies, music, and photos galore!
I have a 80Gb iPod and put all my songs on it - over 12,000 in all. Problem is, it is hard to find anything on it! My cars have iPod interfaces, but with so much music on the "big" iPod, I can't find many songs very easily. The solution? Less is More. I bought this 4GB nano for about $50 used on eBay and then selectively loaded it with songs from one of my computers. I put them into various playlists (rock, country, disco, lounge, etc.) and it is easier to find them in the car (which equates the playlists to CD numbers through the interface) or a lot easier to bring with to the beach. Plus the spouse can press one button and get music. No more trying to explain Apple's "easy to use intuitive" interface, yet again, to the S.O. for the 1000th time. I still have the "big" iPod, but these used Nanos are so cheap, you can afford to buy several of them and download just your favorite songs to them. And if you lose one or it goes dead - no big freaking deal. This generation nano has the standard iPod plug, so it works with existing clock radios, car interfaces, stereo docking stations, etc.Read full review
