    The final chapter of For the Roses

    Loved the opening in which we find our beloved Cole in of all places locked in jail thanks to Marshal Ryan. But to complicate things Cole finds himself on the side of the law which makes him none to happy about - Thanks to Marshal Ryan not only was he knocked out cold, dragged into jail but he wakes up with more than his compass. While out cold a judge has newly appointed our gunslingers status to Marshal, and now the fun really about to begin as we watch these two come to turn and track down the Blackwater Gang.

    This is a captivating mystery-like love story . .

    I bought this book because I am a huge fan of Julie Garwood and her excellent writing. This is one in the series that I had missed when I started reading her books. I really enjoy the way that this book revolves around bank robberies, yet involves wonderful lovefilled excitement as well. I am very impressed with this work, considering it differs from any other book I have read thus far - GREAT STORY!!!

    Good.

    Great story. Well written plot keeps you interested throughout the book and you feel like your right there with the characters. Always liked Julie Garwood's style of writing.
