    High-quality B/W & color printer

    This printer is very compatible with my system and produces a nice, high-quality print in either black and white or color. It was easy to hook up and is very easy to use.

    HP DeskJet 895Cse Printer

    I have owned at least 10 Cse and Cxi Models. I haven’t found the difference, they both seem the same to me. They are very dependable and usually print very good images. I print both B&W and Color, including color photographs on photo paper. Many of my four-color reproductions are as good as the originals to my naked eye.

    Worked well.

    We used this to hook up to an existing non-replaceable customized 25 year old laptop and puncture testing device. Hard to find these dinosaurs, but this held up over time and worked as described.

    HP 895Cse

    THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE FINEST INKJET PRINTERS MADE. IT'S DEPENDABLE, MAKES EXCELLENT COPIES, AND IS VERY GOOD ON INK. MINE IS USED IN AN OFFICE ENVIROMENT AND I DEPEND ON IT CONSTANTLY. WITH THE ADVENT OF HEADS IN THE CARTRIDGE THIS UNIT IS A TRUE COST SAVER. THE HEADS ARE BUILT IN AND THE CARTRIDGES REFILLABLE AND HOLD A LOT OF INK. ADDITIONALLY, IT'LL PRINT BLACK WITHOUT THE COLOR CARTRIDGE HAVING INK. I HAVE ONE UNIT THAT WAS USED DAILY FOR SIX YEARS AND THE ONLY PROBLEM ENCOUNTERED WAS THE PAPER GUIDES NOT WORKING PROPERLY. I'VE SINCE PURCHASED THREE MORE UNITS FROM EBAY AT GREAT PRICES AND MAY GET ANOTHER. I PLAN ON BEING IN BUSINESS FOR SOMETIME.

    Problems

    I had nothing but problems with my Deskjet 895Cse printer. Printing problems were common (especially incomplete printing where only part of the text can be read). Replacing cartridges did not help. Another problem I've always had with this printer (from when it was new) is feeding. It never picks up the paper from the tray on the first shot and usually ended up not getting it at all and the trouble light flashing. I just got in the habit of pushing the paper by hand into the feeder. I won't get another HP printer.
