    The processor had one bent pin. It was an easy fix. Installed and working great. Installed in a Lenovo G500 laptop. This is an old unit. I upgraded the CPU and upped the RAM to 16GB. It is working the best it can for it's age, about 12 years old.

    great upgrade

    extremely easy drop-in CPU upgrade, only took me about 30 - 45 mins, and that's with me taking my time. only other thing i needed to do is upgrade the power supply to handle the extra power requirements (i had the 65w, upgraded to 170w)...the Lenovo 90w power supply may have been....OK....but i wanted to make 100% sure i give this puppy all the power it needs, and then some. the whole system seems a lot snappier now (upgraded from i5-3320M dual core hyperthreading CPU @ 2.5Ghz)

    Awesome cheap easy upgrade for the base T430

    Easy install and worked flawlessly. The ONLY draw back is that the T430 now pops up an error to let you know that the original 60watt charger will no longer charge the system when it is on. - You have to upgrade to the 90watt charger for charging to happen when the system is on.
