Fast shipping, received BNIB as described. I installed an 8TB Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus, attached the included Thunderbolt 4 cable and was able to transfer and read video files immediately. The fan is very quiet - I have excellent hearing and unless I hold enclosure's exhaust port within three (3) inches of my ear I cannot hear the fan at all.
Also, the included thermal pads seem to transfer heat pretty well, as the enclosure gets warm when transferring files or watching 4K movies.
