    Great stock OEM CPU or upgrade, gaming can be done

    Factory stock CPU in most HP ProDesk G600's, also makes a great low cost, gaming CPU for Intel socket 1150 motherboards. Handles DDR3/4 1600mhz RAM effectively. It has a low 65W base power draw. It throttles quickly to it's 3.6GHZ max output. Features on chip video that works in HD when using 8GB or more RAM. Great 4 core CPU overall.

    Goes on motherboard and just works

    I installed it onto the mother board and case along with the other components, and everything just worked! I bent some socket pins last time I put a CPU onto a motherboard, so I'm a little nervous this time. Happily everything came up without an issue.

    Still has life.

    This a great processor. It is not the fastest, but it still works very well for computing and some gameplay. You will not build a cutting edge system, but it is 4th generation chip.

    Great CPU

    CPU came well packaged and even included thermal paste. Installed it and works just as wel las a new one. Helped me re-build a system using a spare motherboard from another system that had a CPU failure.
