Little to ad to the storylines and horrible value for money (which the director also points out due to the funding being cut down to a minimum), but it does tie off the loose ends there are. There is a little interesting things in the behind the scenes but not much to be fair - this is a one time watch. 4/10

I bought this DVD because I am a big fan of the Babylon 5 universe. I have bought all the other DVD releases and wanted to complete my set. Personally I feel I wasted my money on this purchase as it is just like another two episodes but very poor by comparison. There was so many loose ends they could have tackled but chose to make two boring episodes. Also it is a very short DVD at just over one hour. There was inconsistencies within the film as well which just didnt make sense when one knows the Babylon 5 Universe. But for people who do not know this will not matter. All in all a shame this opportunity was wasted by Mr Straczynski.
Babylon 5 The Lost Tales is an interesting coda to a Sci-Fi series that was ahead of its time when it was first aired in the 90's. and although some of the graphics may have dated the strong story telling still shines through.

A nice addition to the B5 series, although there is a lot more talk than action.

The lost tales takes place between season 5 and the last episode. Despite being low budget and character based JMS keeps to the character and has all the essential plot of an episode. Well worth buying. Fans of the show will get the reference to Dr Stephen Franklin and G'Kar and references to the series.
carrying on from the hugely succesful B5 series, this was refreshing to see - it's basically 2 short(ish - 69 mins total) episodes that can both stand alone by themselves. Good in the fact that the stories are self contained, and don't have to refer to other previous events, but bad in the way that they are short on the mryiad of charecters one had come to expect form the show and mini movies - only shedidon, lockley and galon were featured. That said, if these plotlines where featured in the series at it's height, each one would be a classic in it's own right. good stories, welll acted, and to be honest, the special effects where seemles, something b5 suffered from in the early days (fans will love the new valon class cruiser!) Suprisingly good were the extras - usually just 'tagged on' to fill out dvd's these days - especially the memorial section. worth watching just for that, but i would have enjoyed more if it actually featured clips of the actors. all in all, fans of the franchise will enjoy it, non fans can watch it too and probably enjoy it just as much. 4/5, good but could have been a little longer with more charecters.Read full review
