These are decent pads, they drop pretty well and they don't seem to damage the rims; the disadvantage is that they might not last as long as some other pads. I would rather the pads wear out rather than the rims. I bought them because the price was good for name brand pads, although I hadn't heard of the brand before. Get them if you see them at a decent price.

This is the first set of Jagwire brake pads I've bought. They look like good quality and installed with no problems. Just put them on and have not ridden the bike yet but i think they will be fine. The price was right too. I have another set on the way,

Though the brand names vary I have been using these pads for over a decade. The pair I just took off was still not worn out after nearly 8 years of on/off riding. Though they did have age cracks. clean them, give them a light brushing with a piece off 220-240 sand paper from time to time to break the glaze and give a fresh surface and they should last for quite a while. They are not the best pads you can buy, but they are pretty good for the money and better than some that cost more, especially in the rain where increased stopping distance is a given. Adjust your brakes for a mix of wet/dry conditions and in wet conditions ride the brake down hill to heat the pads, but I did not need to tell YOU that. ;)

I delivery groceries for a living. I've altered my dolly to include these rubber brakes. These brakes do the job. The rubber doesn't separate under a lot of stress.

These pads are awesome, and they got to me very quickly. Already installed and working hard to stop all 200lbs that I am. Great buy!
