If you like Beat'em Ups and enjoy the Spiderman comics this is the game for you. The sound could be better but it is a Sega Genesis game. The combat is very responsive to my remade Genesis controllers and my son actually enjoys the game play as well. Not as good as Maximum Carnage story wise but I love the Two-Player co-op mode. All in all a good way to kill time in an old school game.

It's ok, big step backwards from maximum carnage. It's easy, enemies are generic, and just feels like something is off. Two player is about the only thing it has going for it.

I am a very big Spider-man fan and I usually end up buying most spider-man games but this was an excuse for a game, and if you have played Maximum Carnage the prequel you will be in for a big let down. Now the Gameplay is good, but the difficulty is just so hard its either you die in like 5 minutes or you use cheats and beat the game in 15. If you do choose to use cheats (if you want to see past the second level is a pretty good idea) then you will see how the levels repeat theselves over and over again (at least the background changes) there will be different enemies but it will feel like the same thing over and over. the graphics are not bad but if you played Maximum Carnage once again you will be let down big time. The story seems cool before you start to play but then it just falls apart as the game goes on. in summary if you liked Maximum Carnage keep it that way, if you dont know which game i am talking about go check it out, alot better than separation anxietyRead full review
