    Quiet enough to sleep!

    This is such a great fan, I bought a second one for another room!!! It has eight fan settings, and the "Sleep" setting is actually quiet enough that I can sleep with the fan on all night. It is very quiet on the "oscillation" mode. It provides enough cool air to sleep comfortably. I'm used to living in the wilderness in a cooler climate, and I moved to a home in the Midwest with window A/Cs. I have found it impossible to sleep well with the A/C running, even with earplugs. I've bought several other fans, and found they were all too noisy for my comfort. This Honeywell QuietSet Tower fan is so great, that I bought a second one to use in the evening while watching T/V, as the window A/C in that room is also too noisy for my comfort. I can select any of the eight fan settings, and ...

    Waste of money

    I saw great reviews for this product but honestly it's a waste of money. You can get a cheaper version of the same fan, save yourself $20-30 and get the same results. The design is great unfortunately it just doesn't do the job. You can point it at yourself to feel comfortable but it never cools down even a small room. Also it isn't very powerful. Its highest setting (power cool) barely blows more that it's medium setting (relax). A rare miss for Honeywell.

    thinking of returning this product.

    This 260 model has very little power on the high speed. does not compare with the lasko model. very disappointed.

    Quiet at first…

    My work uses this fan and I really liked it so I bought one for home use. I do use it every night more as white noise in the winter months. It’s not very powerful even on highest setting. It has 6 power settings but only 3 really. The BIGGEST ISSUE is after about 3-4 months it wobbles like the fan is out of balance and makes a weird fast bird chirping noise even on the lowest setting. So much for white noise now it’s just noise. Now it’s in the garage. Expensive for a 4 months use fan.
