- *****- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseWas in the market for a affordable scanner for equipment and this one has been great so far!, I have used it on Kubota skidsteers, John Deere tractors and dozers. On the kubota I could preform dpf regen and do injector coding, there was other test available as well, like for egr valve test and throttle test. Pretty impressive for the price.

Lacks a lot of active tests and data when compared to manufacturing diagnostic software for heavy-duty tractors - Volvo and Freightliner. But for the value, it's easy to use and does the majority of what you'd need to do. Although a negative would be the cord from adapter to tablet is very easy to break had to order a new one after a week of use.

The scan tool does not provide a live data stream on the engine models that I needed it to. In this case a Caterpillar C7 WAX serial number. It will pull codes and communicate with the ECM, but no live data available for this engine. They did reach out to their development team and mention they were hoping to get some software updates in the future.
