Product Information

The Cuisinart DGC-300 is a coffee maker that brews up to 10 cups of smooth and refreshing coffee at a time. The Cuisinart DGC-300 has an auto grind and brew feature which grounds the coffee and directly pours it into the filter basket. It comes with an LCD programmable clock, an auto shut off feature and the brew pause feature. By using the brew pause feature, you can have a quick cup of coffee even before the brewing is finished. The Cuisinart DGC-300 is time programmable and can be programmed to turn the machine off at a later time. The coffee makers hot plate stays on for up to two hours before turning itself off, which ensures safety and saves power.

    'Quick' and 'Easy to Clean' are subjective Terms .. lol

    This Cuisinart DGB300 is an older model .. I had one and the grinder quit working but that's fine because I didn't use it anyway .. what I did use was the maker itself and this one is Awesome .. I will tell you that I don't make conventional, regular coffee in it .. I use café bustello cuban espresso, and since I am tired of making it in my one-portafilter/grouphead espresso machine (its too much in the a. m. .. the tamping, the step less grinder, the measuring, the frothing of the milk .. !) its an Expobar Brewtus III and I love it, but yes in the a.m. for me it was all toooo much .. so .. I just throw the espresso in the filter (you can use a #4 cone filter if you don't want to clean the metal one each time) and it comes out GREAT ! I put in a lot of coffee, and only 4 cups of water to ...

    Just what we ordered!

    We purchased this because we currently own a Mr. Coffee Grind and Brew...which is discontinued. I don't think they sell these anymore, either...so we bought this in case ours quits working one day. We are very happy w/this and it has extra features that are nice. It was much less expensive than the newer Cuisinart models. We're fine w/the jet takeoff sound and we don't really mind the cleaning process. But there are a lot more parts than there were in the Mr. Coffee. It takes a time or two to totally figure out how to take it out and put it back together for each use. Others we know, hate this because of the sound and the cleaning process...but we stand by this product. It works for us!

    Auto coffee-alarm clock

    I use this as an alarm clock. In addition to the grinding it performs on the coffee beans which wakes me up, the smell of freshly brewed coffee makes sure that I do in fact get out of bed. This is actually the second of this exact model that I have owned and this one is newer, less worn and had the permanent filter basket as well. New, these go for at least $70. With shipping this one was $25.16, Hurray for EBAY! P.S. You have to buy your own beans, or, if you prefer you can use the already ground type, the machine doesn't mind!

    The best part of waking up is---freshly ground coffee

    What is better than coffee so fresh the beans have been ground seconds before the coffee is brewed? We love this coffee maker! What a convenience to be able to fill the grinder before a party or your bedtime, set the timer and have a fresh brewed pot just when you want it. If your kitchen is near your bedroom -- you could wake up to the sound of the beans being freshly ground. Perhaps you will not need that alarm clock. We are on the second generation of this model. It is available in black, white or my favorite--red. In my opinion you can not beat the value for the price with all the features included in this machine. Enjoy a cuppa! claireswares.az

    Cuisinart Grind and Brew Coffee Maker

    We have had several coffee makers, and this by far is one of the best. The only reason we purchased again was because we accidentally dropped the basket on the ceramic tile floor, and a piece broke off that I could not repair. This model is so good that we preferred to try and find it used, than buy the new one the manufacturer replaced it with. This coffee maker is simple to operate, and grinds the beans wonderfully. Grinding the beans just before brewing is by far the better way to use them. And even on the rare occasion (as when a friend brings over a special coffee) that the beans are already ground, we can override the grind process and go straight to brew. An added plus is the micro filter built into the basket. This saves on the purchase of paper coffee filters (even recycled ...
