Very High Quality Bread Knife
I have several different Classic Series Wusthof kitchen knives for different uses, and believe that Wusthof knives are the best quality knives you can buy. Take care of them with proper washing and honing and they will last a lifetime. This bread knife is no exception and does a perfect job of cutting/slicing any type of bread with minimal crumbs. If you're looking for one of the best bread knives you can buy, I highly recommend a Wusthof like this one. Best design and best Bread knife for the long haul.
I prefer the Wusthof Classic single scallop style knife because it is an excellent bread Knife and it can be sharpened, unlike the similar and much heralded "Double Scalloped" Bread knife. This is a significant advantage to someone that prefers a sharp knife at all times.This is the second Wusthof knife of this design that I have purchased and I remain impressed and pleased with the knife.
