Every weeb's dream
Due to a misunderstanding, I'm not allowed within 500 feet of a school (kinda unfair to be honest, the charges were dropped) so Asuka 120% Burning Fest Limited is one way I can still experience the thrill of watching schoolgirls beat the shit out of each other. The plot of the game is that due to budget constraints, only one club will receive extra funding, and this is decided by having representatives from each club duke it out in a tournament to try and get the funds. It's fairly realistic in my opinion, especially now that Betsy DeVos is Secretary of Education. The graphics were well drawn in my opinion, and one feature I enjoyed was how the B/W/H measurements for each character were printed in the manual so they're really tied to reality in that regard (my favorite character, Tamaki, ... Asuka 120% for Saturn!
-Released in 1997 to coincide with the PSX release of "Excellent", Asuka 120% Limited is the 6th release in the series. This game is also the last one done by the original developer Fill n' Cafe, who sadly went out of business after this game. Unlike "Excellent" this is not just a rehash but a complete rebuild of the game with all new graphics (no more rough sprites) and gameplay changes (faster game speed and combos) and an exclusive animated intro. The only thing that was not changed was the soundtrack which is the same as the PC Engine version. This is probably the most well known in the series but at the same time it is also the most expensive. If you only have a saturn then this is a must have, but if you have a japanese PSX or japanese/asian PS3 I'd recommend "FINAL" over this since ... -Released in 1997 to coincide with the PSX release of "Excellent", Asuka 120% Limited is the 6th release in the series.
