  • Highway to the danger zone..

This game is its own little sleeper hit, while it may not bring the large selection of aircraft, as you would see in a Janes game, its a wonder in its own little way. Bringing in a beautiful display of scenary in great detail, as well as the Jets themselves. Realistic sounds and flight physics, will keep you on your toes as you run your missions. The controls are abit tricky at first, but once you've got the hang of them, you will become the master of the skies. For those not so advanced pilots, it even inculds a few training tracks. showing you step by step, how you would do a task. such as switching radar modes, from guns to missiles. How to acquire a target, and general dogfight usage. Even how to take off and land, as well as air to ground targetting. Pros: Great photorealistic ...

  • Great game, but needs a monster system

I bought this game after hearing a lot about it online. It's a great game...very underpriced for the high caliber it is. The only real problem with it is that it takes a VERY powerful PC to run it at its full potential. If you have a casual home PC, don't even think about trying to run this game. If you have the hardware though, this game can keep you busy for a LONG time. You can set the difficulty to whatever level you want, from simple "fun" settings to hardcore realistic controls. This game has something for everyone, and it can be had for an amazing price; which is good, since you'll probably end up spending some money upgrading your system just to play it.

  • Modern Air Combat: Lock on Gold

I always liked this game, and as an AVID combat flight simmer I always wanted to get it. Well when the "Gold" edition finally came out I figured what the hell, maybe they worked out all the bugs the game use to have. For the most part they did, however it still has the same idotic problem with key mapping the controls the way you want them! Everytimne you set the keys/joystick settings the way you like them and restart the game it always reverts back to default settings! Now granted I'm no computer geek, however Ive been playing online combat sims for the last several years and have thousands invested in my gear, and am very familiar with setting up my equipment, and have NEVER had a problem getting a game to set-up the way I like it until now.....I'm sure I'll get it figured out I just ...

  • LO Modern Air Combat Software

As simulator softwares go, this is a very realistic program with great graphics at a very reasonable price. Runs well on my 3.2D machine but I could use a slightly better video card. I run out of video memory every few sessions, causing short delays while the video card catches up. Not a big enough problem to make me buy andother video card. Close Air Support in the A10 is absolutely great fun. If you have not piloted simulators before, there will be a learning curve.

  • Great Sim at a bargain price, and it runs on Windows 7!

Tough to find Flight Sims that work on Win 7. This runs pretty well, with only a few minor issues. The throttle control is a little buggy, and sometimes the video gets a little crazy, but then again, I'm not playing it on the fastest system in the world. That said, the graphics are very good, The flight is realistic, and I would happily recommend it. Now if someone could only get the old Jane's Sims to work on Win 7!
