The game is Skyrim, a wonderful open world RPG adventure game. If you've played it before, you already know about the game, so I'll focus on changes made for the VR as well as the overall VR experience. To get the world of Skyrim playable with the gamer actually inside the world, some of the graphics details had to be reduced a bit. It's not the resolution of the VR headset either, as different versions were compared on-screen (55" 4k TV) and the PS4 version looks the best, followed by the Switch version, then finally the VR version. Moderate detail is lost even when stepping down from Switch to the VR version. Those are the three copies of the game I had to compare. Still, the PlayStation VR version of Skyrim is intensely immersion. It really feels as though you are actually at Windhelm, and the various caves and dungeons are just a treat to experience in VR, for the most part. The reduced resolution cab be a bit distracting if you've played the game before, and my biggest issue with the game comes from the motion sickness I experienced whike playing. Keep in mind that I played completely through Resident Evil 7 in VR mode (ridiculous, please give it a try) and I have played around with demos and other software for several hours without even a little bit if motion sickness. With Skyrim, however, the nausea and dizziness were overwhelming, and after about an hour Inga to stop playing altogether. Skyrim is amazing in VR. the entire game is there, but the game is held back a bit by lower resolution and some motion sickness that I could not overcome. The latter issue could prove to be an individual problem, one that you may or may not experience at all, but since Skyrim is the only game where this was an issue for me, I have to assume that the problem will remain for a majority of players. I would have liked a little more detail, as the Nintendo Switch version even looks significantly better, but the graphics still are not a deal breaker. If you can handle the VR motion, pick this game up and actually be a part of Skyrim. There's nothing quite like battling a dragon in VR. Read full review

Skyrim was already one of the greatest open world RPGs ever made. But when playing on a monitor or TV, the immersion can only go so far. Imagine you're in Tamriel and you're REALLY THERE!!! You're the Dragonborn and you're actually ACTUALLY HIM/HER!!! If you never tried VR before, it might be hard to imagine. So try this out. Go outside, go in a forest and just walk around. It's cool huh? Well that's what Skyrim VR is like! It puts you IN the world! When a giant spider crawl right up to you for an attack, it literally feels like it's just a few feet away from you! You HAVE to play this game! It's the entire standard Skyrim game with all it's DLCs, which means you're gonna be visiting Tamriel (not just playing a game) for 100 to 400 hours of your life!

I never thought I'd be playing Skyrim again but here I am. It feels surprisingly like a completely new game in VR. The default teleport controls are a bit weird but you can switch to a much better smooth motion movement. You also have the option of using a regular dualshock controller. The graphics aren't amazing, but they're ok for a 7 year old game on a modern console. The gameplay is still great, the VR just gives it a whole new perspective. All DLC is included so even if you pay full price (I only got it for $20) it's still a good deal. All in all, it's a great VR experience, worth coming back to Skyrim for.

Skyrim VR blew me away the moment I entered the main menu. The game is fantastic to look at and a blast to play. I did get motion sick after my first hour, but after making adjustments to the settings this problem wasn't an issue anymore. If you have a PSVR, then I highly recommend this title!

Love this game. Played original when first released. All time favorite game. VR version is incredibly immersive and a must experience for skyrim fans. Disc was sealed and as described. Absolutely satisfied, thank you.
