About the Brand
Dana is a perfumery house founded in 1932 in Barcelona, Spain by the lawyer Javier Serra. The company headquarters was relocated to Paris and due to the German occupation of France during the World War II, finally settled in the United States. Dana launched series of notable classic fragrances between the 30’s and 50’s. The company's first perfume - Tabu, was created by the famous perfumer Jean Carles, who was influenced by the oriental scents and aromas. Nowadays Dana continues creating series of successful fragrances for the mass market and introduces updated versions of old adored perfumes as well.

    English Leather Cologne

    I have been wearing English Leather since high school (1960s). The bottles do all like to be brand new and unopened. They are small (1 Oz) travel bottle, but that is not a problem. Some of the bottle actually say MEM on them (the original manufacture), but they appear to be NEW old stock, and they all have the same scent.

    I have several bottles of english leather (I like to stock up when I see a sale or a good price) and this is NOT english leather. My wife and a neighbor agree this is not the same. This smells like a group of cats in heat took up residence in a gin distillery, and not the good kind of gin. The kind of gin you pay $5 for a half gallon.
