Perfection by Peterson again!
Needed a transducer for my Peterson rack mounted Strobe tuner for serious work.... This baby is DEAD accurate with a a440 and g230 calibrated fork.... Setting intonation, tuning, re-nut-cuts and bridge depth is a total breeze with accuracy like this!!! A+++ All the way... Peterson gear is quite expensive (4K for a strobe tuner is worth every cent and this baby is built like a friggin tank! nice long, long cord. Strong spring. Will do guitars, bass, mandolins, brass, anything for that point.... Don't cheap out- This is the way to go!

If you like your pickups (tuner) sensitive...
While I am actually using this item for a pickup to attach to a precision watch timing machine, its sensitivity is evident. When clamped to an old pocket watch it sends the ticking sound to the machine loudly and clearly. Being that I have electronic tuners for my guitars that operate on the same principle, I know how it works, and this one works very well. If you have guitar tuner that has a 1/4" jack input, as well as only having a microphone pickup, this TP-3 will transform it into a sound-isolating clamp-on style. It helps make better use of pickup-less tuners, and works with old watch timing-machines. :-)
