I’m on my 40s, average guy, I dress formally during the day and casual/sport in the evenings and weekends. I’m not a fragrance expert but I had a chance to wear many of them. These are my thoughts on this fragrance. Y Live is a fresh fragrance, it opens fruity, citrus, great wow factor, very appealing, with great projection and longevity. This fragrance falls within the fresh/citrus range, it makes you feel of a sunny day. The dry down is great as well, long-lasting and maintains those fresh citrus accents. Wow Rating: 9/10 Yuck Rating: 0/10 Uniqueness: 9/10 Projection: 8/10 Longevity: 8/10 Ideal for: Casual, sports. Recommendation: Very unique, great projection and longevity. A must ...

    Authenticity is questionable.

    The product is advertised as NIB but infact was opened from the bottom. Not NIB. I am aware of a method people use to remove some fragrance from a bottle using a syringe and replacing it with another liquid, usually alcohol. This fragrance smells nice to start but in less than an hour there is no trace. My fault for not returning immediately.

    Instant Classic!

    This is one of the best colognes I have smelled and owned, and I have owned hundreds from colognes worth several hundred dollars to colognes that cost less than ten dollars. It is an instant classic and it should be in demand for a long time to come. It is in no way " unique " but it sure does smell good. This another winner from Yves Saint-Laurent, a fragrance house I love that I have known produces some of the best quality fragrances around for some time now. A heart thumbs up!
