Tage Frid gets straight to the point in offering his thorough knowledge of all aspects of woodworking. Starting with cutting and drying lumber, this book is the best reference I've seen for those who want to know how to make anything out of wood. I personally appreciate his teaching of both hand tool and machine use as appropriate for the production methods specific to a shops function. Can't wait to get book three!! Thank you Mr. Frid..
I recently made a career change, going from a residential carpenter to a maintenance carpenter. You might call it rough cabinetry using plywoods, plyron, lexan, UHMW amoung other materials. I'll use Tage Frid teaches woodworking as a resource, useful tool.
