    Great uderrated and hard to find movie

    If you like stories about journalist covering tough situations in foreign countries , this one is hard to beat ! Think of "The Year of living Dangerously " and this is right up there with top performances by the three lead and others - Ed Harris hits a high note as a mercenary . An try finding this movie. I believe it is totally out of print and was lucky to find it new on ebay at a fairly reasonable price .

    Under Fire

    An overlooked gem of a movie, Under Fire boasts an intelligent script about a relevent topic, following three photo journalists through the crisis in Nicaragua in the early 1980's. The film's authenticity is reinforced by top-notch acting (check out Ed Harris's soldier of fortune,) intense cinematography, and a great musical score. This film makes an excellent companion piece to Oliver Stone's "Salvador," another underrated tale of the strife in Central America some twenty years ago.
