    Good things come from Life's Trials

    This is, in my opinion the best book that Elder Maxwell ever penned. As we face our trials in life we often forget that we are here to be tried. While the prophet was incarcerated many profound revelations were revealed to him. Elder Maxwell points out many points that we would more than likely overlook in expounding on the fruits of this difficult time in the prophets life. Many thought that the followers of the prophet would lose faith and the church would fall apart. We can learn many lessons to apply in our own lives from this sacred time in the prophets. I am grateful for the lessons we can learn from this discourse and it has made me aware of the blessing that come from life's trials and tribulation. I'm also grateful that it is still available, often older books like this become ...
