Impressive Smart Audio
I've loved this little speaker! It isn't the loudest or the most incredible sounding audio device I've used, but it's an amazing value. It does get really loud for the size, and it sounds great. I'd give audio quality a 7.5/10. It's a good speaker, but it could have a bit more bass to it, as well as clarity at higher volumes. As for the Google Home side of things, I've loved it. It hears my voice and quiets the music when I'm talking to it. It's response is pretty quick. One downside I'll note is that the white LEDs on the front are very bright, enough to softly illuminate a dark room. Not a fan of that. It also takes about 20-30 seconds to power on, but that's fine for me. I love the design of this speaker, the white looks great, it's a good size and weight, and it can be left plugged ... Excellent Speaker
Very nice sound quality, better than my Google Home base and mini speakers. Works great as a Google speaker except that you can't just say "stop" to stop an alarm/timer - you have to wake it up first when the alarm is going off by saying "Hey/OK Google, stop". My pure Google speakers are already listening when the alarm is going off and don't have to be woken up to stop the alarm/timer. Unlike what I read elsewhere, I do get treble and bass controls in my Google Home app. I couldn't get it on my network using my Huawei tablet (Android 8) but didn't have any problem when I used my Pixel 4 phone (Android 10). Once it got on the network, I had no problem using my tablet to control it.Very nice sound quality, better than my Google Home base and mini speakers. Great Little Smart Speaker for a Great Price
I looked around for quite a while trying to find a portable speaker with WiFi, Bluetooth, and Google Assistant. Surprisingly, there aren't many, but the JBL Link 20 fit the bill perfectly. I don't know if this has been discontinued - it's not easy to find - but I definitely recommend grabbing one if you get the chance. Sound quality is quite good, although I haven't yet figured out if there's a way to know exactly how much battery is left...
