    Love the dye, wish there was more!

    This dye isn't a bad buy for the price, but there are others just as potent that don't cost quite as much. For medium length (shoulder) hair it will take 2-3 of these. I managed to get by using one and a half, a bunch of olaplex, and some developer. For the best results I'd suggest doing 1 Blue Moon Dye, 1/2 oz olaplex, 2 oz low strength developer, 1 Other Blue Manic Panic Dye. This'll give your hair natural highlights, turns your dye into a conditioning treatment instead of something harmful, and will generally work on even light/medium browns. My hair was a medium/dark brown and came out a dark blue with great teal highlights that showed up in all kinds of light, not just standing under the sun. So again, good dye, not the greatest pricing for a high quality dye.
