Works well; easy to install
This red corded wall phone was exactly what I was looking for to replace one I'd had for years which had finally given up the ghost! The new phone is lightweight, was easy to install and is simple to operate like any other push button phone. There are two features my old phone had which I miss (but can live without): being able to redial a number by pushing a center button and the ability to control voice volume of the caller. It does have an external adjustable ring volume control switch and the "loud" is perfect volume for me. Cosmetically, I would have preferred the receiver cradle to be red also (as my old one was), but that wasn't a deal breaker; just personal preference.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Pros: Its nice looking. It fits our old kitchen decor very well. We like the chrome look. It was fairly easy to install. I like the ring sound. Its super cool. Its very affordable Cons: its plastic not metal. It doesn’t sit onMy shoulder well due to its shape and slips out eventually. The ringer didn’t work at first. Had to give it the “Fonzie” to get it to ring. Still feels and sounds cheaply made for one of the most important parts. One star deduction for poor general construction. One star deduction for poor mechanical/electrical execution. In summary. Appreciate it for what it is and how much it costs and nothing more. We bought this as a replacement for the same phone which for some reason no longer works after about ten years of use. So we had this model with brushed chrome.
